Bluesquare Data provides consolidated co-location services to WIN plc

03 August 2010 – BlueSquare Data has been selected by WIN plc, a leading provider of interactive information and entertainment to mobile phones, to consolidate information and reduce the number of data centres WIN uses. The deal supports the company’s new messaging platform - WIN Engage - the subject of a £3.5 million investment.

WIN will use BlueSquare Data’s tier 3 and 4 facilities in Maidenhead and Milton Keynes to deliver security and redundancy. By reducing the number of co-location providers it uses, WIN will lower overall costs, increase internal efficiencies, and maximise uptime for customers.

BlueSquare Data will also provide its high availability and low latency backbone between sites to provide synchronisation for disaster recovery purposes.
